Johanna Wiedenbach, born in 1953, completed her concert exam at the Hamburger Musikhochschule under the tuition of Prof. Eliza Hansen. She was awarded the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes and won several prizes. Wilhelm Kempff has been an important mentor and inspiration since meeting at his masterclass in Positano in 1978. Since a young age she has performed as a soloist with many orchestras and given many solo recitals. Her great passion is chamber music and accompaniment. Johanna Wiedenbach is professor at the Hamburger Conservatoire for Music.
